FAMILY MEMORIES

In Loving Memory of Violet Cawthorn

This web page is placed in loving memory of Violet Cawthorn. Who; throughout her entire life served God and the church with unwavering dedication. She raised a family and gave to them all unselfishly while dealing with many adversities throughout her life and always trusted God for strength and to show the way. Her success is shown by her many accomplishment that she achieved through her life with very minimal resources at hand. She is loved most dearly and is remembered by all her family which numbered more than one hundred at the time of her passing.

We will always miss you and forever keep you in our hearts.

Remembering

This poem was found in mothers collections

"Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow,

I am the diamond glint on snow,

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush

I am the swift up lighting rush,

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft star that shines at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there, I did not die."
